With over 70 years of experience, WEICHAI and its subsidiaries have established a strong presence across various industries, including powertrain development, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction, intelligent logistics, and marine mobility.

As part of their commitment to autonomous driving, WEICHAI has been actively developing capabilities based on #Autoware, leveraging their expertise in drive-by-wire-ready vehicle platforms and extensive experience in vehicle system design across a wide array of application scenarios. They recognize the potential to further enhance Autoware’s functionality and performance.

With an ongoing mining project as a starting point, WEICHAI aims to extend Autoware’s capabilities into new operational design domains (ODDs). They are eager to share their insights and outcomes with the Autoware #community to drive further innovation and adoption.

WEICHAI plans to actively participate in the Software, ODD, and Safety Assurance working groups to collaborate with the community and contribute to the evolution of Autoware.
