A leading provider of domain controllers for autonomous machines, MIIVII TECH has joined the Autoware Foundation!

MIIVII TECH specializes in developing high-performance domain controllers based on the Nvidia Jetson series. They have deep expertise in hardware architecture, software optimization, and system integration for autonomous driving applications.

MIIVII TECH CTO and Co-Founder Jun Su stated that MIIVII TECH recognizes the immense potential of open-source collaboration in accelerating the development of self-driving technologies. By aligning their efforts with the Autoware community, they aim to contribute our expertise in domain controller design and optimization, particularly leveraging the Nvidia Jetson platform. 

Through active participation in the foundation, MIIVII TECH seeks to collaborate with like-minded organizations, share their knowledge, and learn from the collective experience of the community. Their goal to join the Autoware Foundation is to drive innovation, promote interoperability, and ultimately deliver robust and efficient domain controller solutions that empower the autonomous driving ecosystem.

MIIVII TECH team plans to join the Reference Design, Open AD Kit and Safety Assurance working groups and plans to contribute by sharing their software expertise to optimize Autoware’s performance on Jetson-based domain controllers, providing best practices for sensor fusion and synchronization and developing and maintaining drivers, middleware components and APIs, specific to Jetson-based hardware.

We welcome MIIVII TECH to the Autoware Foundation and are excited to work with a partner who is experienced with highly-sought after Nvidia-based computing systems.
