Capgemini Engineering Labs worldwide work on automotive programs, and among those programs, Autoware software is frequently used in various regions, including Europe, India, and Japan. 🌍 In Europe, through EU programs, Autoware is poised to be used in tens of demonstrations showcasing diverse use cases ranging from multimodal transportation 🚖🚉 to real-time decision-making in autonomous driving. The Capgemini team also showcased Autoware-powered demos at prestigious local and international events, including the Paris Motor Show and AWS re:Invent. 🏁✨

Since 2023, the Capgemini Japan team has been working closely with Tsukuba University 🇯🇵 to create value through collaboration between industry, academia, and government. The Tsukuba Japan Innovation Lab is envisioned as a 3-in-1 concept: a research lab, a showroom, and an events location.

The Capgemini team plans to develop innovative solutions that enable autonomous mobility, especially targeting underserved populations (e.g., the elderly, visually impaired, mobility impaired, etc.). Tsukuba University researchers focus on human behavior modeling, while the Capgemini team integrates those models into the autonomous software stack.
