Technology Description
PopcornSAR provides an Adaptive AUTOSAR–based development platform designed for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). The platform integrates Agentic AI to automate design, coding, and verification, accelerating the shift toward software-centric vehicle architectures. Its core toolchain includes AutoSAR.io for ARXML and service modeling, PARA stack compliant with the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform, and a cloud-native IDE equipped with intelligent AI agents. Together, these components enable seamless design-to-code transitions and streamlined testing within a scalable, cloud-based environment. This software-defined approach enhances system reliability, reduces integration cost, and opens new opportunities for automakers, Tier1 suppliers, and mobility software providers.
To expand its ecosystem, PopcornSAR bridges Autoware and AUTOSAR through a unified OS and middleware layer supporting ara::com, SOME/IP, and DDS communication standards. This enables developers to build interoperable SDV platforms that connect autonomous driving functions with vehicle control and diagnostics.
