Value Proposition

KATECH is a Korean non-profit research institute dedicated to research & development of vehicle technologies applicable to real-world industries through partnerships with various companies. We offer solutions for autonomous driving perception, decision-making, control, security, and Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV), applying these technologies to the industry through embedded solutions. Leveraging our extensive experience and solutions, we contribute to enhancing the applicability of Autoware and have already delivered successfully tested solutions across various industrial fields.

Technology Description

KATECH develops solutions tailored to the demands of the industrial sector, facilitating the introduction of autonomous driving technologies into real-world applications. We provide high-performance Application Processor (AP)-based autonomous driving controllers and Ethernet-based vehicle network solutions, alongside software platforms and operating systems designed for executing autonomous driving software in embedded environments. Furthermore, our collaboration with the Autoware Foundation enhances the practicality of open-source autonomous driving software. By strategically partnering with industry players, we accelerate the deployment of our research-developed solutions into the market, thereby contributing to the commercialization and widespread adoption of autonomous driving technologies.
