Edutech India partners with The Autoware Foundation to integrate cutting-edge mobility and autonomous vehicle models into education and industry. We’re developing an Autoware curriculum, establishing Centres of Excellence, and offering hands-on learning to prepare students and professionals for future advancements and innovation in transportation.

India with its extensive Education and research skillsets, and its affinity to the open source platforms can be a significant contributor for the Autoware community in future.
We aim to contribute to AWF by bridging the gap between industry and academia in our region and promoting Autoware adoption through educational programs, workshops, community development, hardware validation and academic competitions.
Technology Description
Edutech has over three decades of experience in setting up core engineering and emerging technology labs across various technical universities in India and the Middle East. These include engineering labs, indoor and outdoor autonomous mobility labs, and more. We strongly believe we can leverage our sales and technical skills in mobility platforms to promote and support the Autoware adoption within the education and research community in India and the Middle East. Hardware validation research of Autoware on Edutech indoor and outdoor autonomous vehicle models are some of the key outcomes.
In our ecosystem, we have a 1/10th scale vehicle for autonomous driving research, equipped with AV sensing and computing features. Currently, our engineers are delivering training on our platform using MATLAB. With our skill set, we can potentially integrate Autoware into our vehicle and conduct F1Tenth racing in our region, which will raise awareness in the self-driving research community about AWF and its solutions.
Edutech has global collaboration with various AWF ecosystem members such as Pix Moving, Whale Dynamics & TIER IV. We have successfully delivered and installed few autonomous vehicle models, including PixKit and Robobus. Our engineers have developed their skillset in the Autoware integration with open architecture vehicle models.
